Red earth and pouring rain

In search of myself

Smile!

Smile!

Send to me again,

the fragrance of the earth;

Fill my ears again

with the music of the rain;

Sing to me again

the joys of the rainbow;

Plant in me again

the magic of a smile;

Flow unto me again

the waters of the stream;

Light in me again

the glow of a dream;

Come unto me again,

Life, with all your whims…

    Nice poem. Especially the last line. Life coming with all her whims, seems like a river turning all her curves and rushing to your arms! :-)

    Thanks Agni,

    Thought it was too simple and childish for anyone’s liking!

    Couldn’t help reading it again today! :) Your writing is subtle and is such a soother. There are a lot of expressions from your writing that I could relate to so well, it’s like they just fit into my story perfectly. :)

    I suppose these thoughts are characteristic of souls in search of something that they themselves are unaware of..

    Welcome to my blog.. :)
